Biography

Maobi N., born Chimaobim Samuel Nnanna is a singer/song writer, illustrator, photographer, cinematographer and activist from Umuahia Province of Biafra. He first got introduced to music as a child spending most of his time listening to his angels harp voiced chorister mum who always sings melodious old choir songs as she does her usual home chores, softening his heart where the seed of music making will grow. He developed deep love for singing as he sings with his family members at home during family times as a family choir. Maobi N first got introduced to the world of activism and patriotism as a young lad spending lots of time with his father talking about Biafra and the Nigeria-Biafra war which later shaped his life. His country-soul, heart-melting warm vocals and consoling harmonies as deeply influenced by and in the style and genre of Jim Reeves, Don Williams, Kenny Rogers, Michael Jackson and a host of others gave him a spot in the heart of his fans.
